How HiToP® is Different
From a technical point of view conventional electrotherapy is a modulation of amplitude only. The current intensity (amplitude) is modulated, but the frequency remains constant (fixed). Yet, in High Tone therapy the amplitude and the frequency are modulated simultaneously. In Other words, conventional stimulation currents provide muscle and nerve stimulation through modulation of amplitude only (Vertical stimulation) while High Tone therapy stimulates muscle and nerve through frequency and amplitude modulation, (Horizontal and Vertical therapy).
